I was in Miami for the last 5 days, and wanted to share with you what I saw, ate, and where I slept. When I travel for work I don’t have a lot of time to explore, but I still managed to see some cool stuff. I was staying at the Viceroy hotel.  The mood of this hotel is a mix of  art deco and modernity. Situated in downtown, makes for a pretty amazing view. And of course, a lot of marble floors which I love!

I was working in the Design district, last time I went was 10 years ago. Everything has changed! The most luxurious stores are there displaying their coolest concepts.  Art pieces in the middle of the street surrounded by Dior, Vuitton, Hermes, and  a few art galleries sprinkled in between. You can take a break from shopping at the local pizzeria Harry’s and share some yummy appetizers.

But for breakfast , if you are in Miami, you cannot miss “Zak the baker.” This little bakery is heaven. Everything is homemade. Bread, pastries, granola in a nice ambiance.  the raw interior is comprised of wood and natural materials.

I finished my trip at the Standard hotel. This place is so beautiful! You can have dinner outside with a view of the sea. Dimly lit by small hanging lights that make the experience special. The 70’s vibe in the lobby, hamacs around the pool, and the great food make this place a must see.
